                       Warren Athletic Hall of Fame to Induct Class of 2011

        The Warren Athletic Hall of Fame today announced its 2011 induction class: Athletes Anne Hackley Cardenas, Nancy Chaffee, Sam Correia, Dave Lamarca, Jim McMahon, Doug Mitchell, and Joel Morrissette; Old Timers Ernie Hoar and Cas Potera; Coach Foxy Marshall, Contributor Jay Ferreira, Phyllis Abbruzzi Award winner Manny Correira; the Warren High School Football team of 1956;  and the Warren Wanderers Semi-Pro Football team of 1937.  Hoar, Lamarca, Marshall, and Potera will be honored posthumously.

      The inductees will be honored as the Hall of Fame’s thirteenth annual banquet on April 9, 2011 at the Venus de Milo Restaurant in Swansea, Massachusetts.  Dinner will be 7 pm, preceded by cocktails at 6 pm.

 Tickets at $40 for adults and $15 for children ( 12 years old and under ) may be purchased by calling Martha Delekta at 245-1361.
